Where are the Junior Jive classes held?
Our Junior Jive franchisees and teachers go to schools and ECD centres in their area to present the Junior Jive classes there.
If your child is at a centre where Junior Jive classes are not yet held, please contact us urgently and we will rectify that for you by contacting your school for a free DEMO class.
If your child does not attend a school or ECD centre, please contact your nearest Junior Jive franchisee to enquire about Studio classes.
How much do the Junior Jive classes cost?
Junior Jive is committed to keeping the cost of our lessons on par with income of the areas we present classes in. The cost therefore varies according to the area.
The Lessons are charged per term, or per month (over 10 months).
Contact your nearest Franchisee for more details about their termly or monthly payment plan.
From what age can my child start Junior Jive classes?
Our Junior Jive classes are divided up into specific age group categories to ensure that your child receives the best activities, based on their developmental age.
Junior Jive classes start once the baby is settled into the school routine, at about 4 months old, with the Baby Maestros curriculum.
Our curriculums are developed for different age groups up to 9 years old ( or Grade 3 level) and we can therefore present classes up to this level.
What will my child learn in the Junior Jive class?
Each age group has different educational, perceptual and musical focus pointers.
For each age group we ensure the activities cover a holistic approach to include:
- Motor development
- language development
- social and emotional development
- perceptual development
- General knowledge around the themes we cover, and
- musical skills development.
Our lessons use music and movement as tools to develop the above in a fun and interactive way.
